Will Dean Ambrose Return To WWE [Update News]

Will Dean Ambrose Return To WWE. During his time in WWE, Dean Ambrose was a member of the very popular stable known as The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Currently, Dean Ambrose is signed to AEW where he wrestles under the ring name John Moxley. He is a member of Blackpool Combat Club alongside American Dragon Brian Danielson, himself a former WWE Superstar. Moxley’s WWE contract expires on April 30, 2019.

The 36-year-old left WWE with a bad taste in his mouth. As he was not happy with the way his character was being booked. He made his AEW debut on May 26, 2019, when he attacked Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega at the AEW Double or Nothing event. Moxley reached the pinnacle of success in AEW early in his time in the company as he defeated Jericho at AEW Revolution on February 29, 2020 to win the AEW World Championship.

There has been speculation about Moxley’s possible return to WWE, but for now, he’s happy to stay with AEW. Recently his character took a new direction. As he formed a team with his former rival Bryan Danielson. And they are managed by former WWE legend William Regal.

Will Dean Ambrose Return To WWE ?

Disbanding one of the greatest teams in WWE history was always going to be a bold move. Night after night, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were stealing the show, so it was natural for many—myself included—to fear that the end of their alliance would be detrimental to the overall product. In some ways, though, it was even more exciting after the former allies went their separate ways. Reigns became a new face in the main event picture, while Ambrose and Rollins began a high-intensity rivalry.
But with Ambrose filming away for the WWE Studios lockdown, his rivalry with Rollins has unfortunately been put on hold. While the kayfabe injury that wrote him off TV should enable the feud to rekindle, it’s hard to argue that the promising storyline has lost a large chunk of its momentum. Fear not, however, because that could all change. As Wrestle Zone’s Nick Paglino reports, Ambrose is once again being advertised for WWE programming.
