Mirttunjoy father Tahajjat Hossain Chowdhury is a big fan of cricket. Otherwise, after the birth of a child, does any other Bengali father dream of making him a pace bowler? Mirttunjoy Chowdhury’s father Tahajjat Hossain wanted to be a left-arm fast bowler like Wasim Akram, not a cricketer. But his son Mirttunjoy was born right-handed. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury Cricket Career
In October 2020, Chowdhury was named in the Mahmudullah XI squad for the 2020-21 BCB President’s Cup. Mirttunjoy made his T20 debut on 31 May 2021 for Shinepukur Cricket Club in the 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League. He made his first-class cricket debut on 31 October 2021 for the Khulna Division in the 2021-22 National Cricket League. Mirttunjoy made his debut in the 2021-22 Bangladesh Cricket League One-Day Tournament on 9 January 2022 for Central Zone. He was selected by Chittagong Challengers during the Players’ Draft for the 2021-22 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). On 29 January 2022, he made his BPL debut against Sylhet Sunrisers, scored a hat trick for a winning reason and was named the best player of the match.
