ICC Cricket T20 World Cup 2022 Schedule, Team list & Venue
ICC was going to hold the T20 World Cup of 2022 in Australia in the month of October. Everyone was very excited as they would get a glimpse of their favorite players training. They would get to see the sport they love. However, the tournament had to be re-scheduled. It was going to be held from 18th October to 15th November. ICC had announced on 20th November that they’ve decided to postpone the tournament. That was going to be held in Australia.

The 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the seventh ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament. Scheduled to be played in October and November 2022 in India. Originally, the tournament was to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2022. However, in July 2022, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that. The tournament had been postponed until 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2022, the ICC also confirmed that India would host the 2022 tournament.

ICC T20 WORLD CUP 2022 TEAMS
The 2022 T20 World Cup will see a total of 16 teams taking the center stage. This includes 11 permanent test playing nations and 6 associate countries.

The top 8 teams including the hosts will qualify to the Super 12s round. While the rest eight teams will be divided into two groups. And the top 2 of each group will join the Super 12s.
ICC T20 WORLD CUP 2022 VENUE
BCCI has shortlisted the locations where they are planning to host the matches. Since we don’t know about the COVID-19 conditions during oct-Nov 2022. So, BCCI is planning to hold matches in few bigger cities in order to avoid unnecessary travel.
Talking about shortlisted venues. BCCI has picked Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Mohali, Dharamshala, Kolkata and Mumbai. To host the matches during the World Cup. This list is still under consideration as BCCI is planning to add few more cities.
